Another person was confirmed coronavirus-negative after being treated in Georgia. It means there is no virus in his body. Marina Ezugbaia, Clinical Head of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital, shares information.
“It is the second patient with a history of travel to Iran. He was tested on the 15th day, which was yesterday, and showed the virus-negative result. We already know that the primary negative result is very good, but we did another test during the following 24 hours. After receiving the second virus-negative result, we may say that the patient has been cured.” - said Marina Ezugbaia.
The second test result of the patient tested yesterday will be ready later today.
There are thirty novel coronavirus-infected people registered in Georgia at present.
