EU Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell held a meeting with Dr. Hans Henri P. Kluge, the WHO Regional Director for Europe.
The meeting was held as part of Kluge’s five-day visit to Georgia.
The officials discussed the EU assistance to Georgia and the aftermath of Georgia-WHO cooperation.
Hartzell said the EU had allocated funding for Georgia to buy medical equipment and materials.
“Another large batch for aiding the health system is on its way,’’ he said, adding the vaccination supporting ways are also under discussion.
Hans Henri P. Kluge thanked Carl Hartzell and noted that the collaboration would continue.
