The users of the most visual application, Instagram, might have noticed that a part of the photos was blocked in the News Feed. The reason for it is a new regulation connected to the disinformation fight strategy.
The most painful regulation for the visual artists is directed to the visual materials processed by the photoshop and aimed at misleading the customers. Despite that, the goal is benign the regulation represents a problem for a part of the customers because it does not cover only fake materials of propaganda content, but all visual materials processed with the help of photoshop, or purely by the photoshop.
The popular platform for spreading photos and photo-stories announced the warning about blocking fake information from Instagram a year ago.
Instagram cooperates with the Fact-Checking Platform, which is designed to proceed with each fact separately and blocks any transformed visual material, hence blocking the bloggers, their followers, and visual artists’ posts. From a part of the customers’ point of view, this regulation means turning back to the art.
