According to the Turkish Health Minister, Fahrettin Koca, the first virus test showed no coronavirus infection in Georgian citizens evacuated to Ankara. The test results are accessible to the public.
“Eighteen patients have already undergone the so-called fast test. The results showed negative. More tests are taken. The final test results are expected tomorrow. Based on the results, it is possible to cut the fourteen-days quarantine period. There were no registered cases of coronavirus in Turkey. The citizens have no reason to panic,” – said the Health Minister.
Yesterday, three Georgian citizens were evacuated from Wuhan to Turkey. Turkish Defense jet landed in Ankara, delivering evacuated citizens of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
According to the last information, 305 people died in China, and the Philippines and 14 411 are infected.
