Another patient with coronavirus died in Adjara. Twenty-five people were killed by the virus in Georgia so far.
According to the Adjara Public Health Center, an ambulance brought a 76-year-old man to the Batumi Med Emergency clinic on September 22, at 00:52.
The patient had severe respiratory failure and fever.
"The condition of the patient was difficult when admitting to the clinic. The patient had ischemic heart disease, arterial hypertension ESU/ESC 3, extrasystolic arrhythmia, and heart failure.
The clinic performed all the appropriate measures immediately; however, due to the complexity of the accompanying diseases, unfortunately, the patient could not survive. Before his death, the patient tested for coronavirus, and tested positive on COVID-19," the statement said.
