"Out of 18 197 active cases of infection, the condition of 886 patients is severely assessed," Berdia Sichinava, the Deputy Chief of Operations at the Interagency Coordination Council, stated at a briefing at the Government Administration.
According to him, 324 people are on artificial respiration.
"Currently, there are 18 197 active cases of infection. Six thousand one hundred forty-five people are undergoing treatment at hospitals, including 2 712 in Tbilisi, 1 010 in Adjara, and 1 241 in Imereti. At this stage, 886 people are seriously ill, including - 405 in Tbilisi, in Adjara - 140, in Imereti - 214. Among them, there are 324 people on artificial respiration, 165 of them in Tbilisi, 49 in Adjara, 42 in Imereti.
3 723 people are at Covid Hotels, including 1 108 in Tbilisi, 2 047 in Adjara, and 262 in Imereti. 8 329 people are undergoing treatment at residential apartments," Berdia Sichinava said.
