By the decision of Commission of Titles and Symbols at Tbilisi Self-Government (Sakrebulo), one of the streets in Samgori district is named after Badri and Vakhtang Gzirishvili, father and son who perished in the War.
The Tbilisi Sakrebulo Chairman, Giorgi Tkemaladze, spoke about heroism of Badri and Vakhtang Gzirishvili during the event stressing the honor for Tbilisi Sakrebulo to contribute to the territorial integrity of Georgia by immortalization of the names of the heroes.
