"Our country is taking appropriate measures," Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, stated. According to him, countries with the coronavirus pandemic are a threat to Georgia. That's why Gamkrelidze advises citizens not to travel there.
"The countries that represent a threat to Georgia are China, Iran, Japan, South Korea, and Italy. We are ready for the pandemic," Gamkrelidze said.
There are two cases of coronavirus in Georgia. One of them got reported today, the other one is a male, who spent a week in Iran.
