"My health condition has deteriorated during the last two days, and I will probably have to go to the hospital today," Anzor Melia, the director of the cardiology Clinic Heart told report.ge.
Melia said he suffers from shortness of breath, cough, and fever.
"Increase in virus rate can be seen all over Georgia, that is why the virus has spread in the clinic. The number of infected patients has increased in the clinic. We could not transfer them to specialized clinics, which is why it spread so fast. Other employees of the clinic are feeling well," Anzor Melia told report.ge.
Due to coronavirus cases, the cardiology Clinic Heart will be closed until December 10. In total, about 60 employees of the clinic are infected; 30 of them are doctors. The director of the clinic Anzor Melia is also infected.
