Georgia imported 100 tons of liquid medical oxygen from Azerbaijan.
"With the help of the Azerbaijani authorities, the required amount of liquid medical oxygen was delivered to Georgia. The Azerbaijani side has also promised to provide medical oxygen to the clinics that treat patients with coronavirus in Georgia," said Zurab Pataridze, Georgia's ambassador to Azerbaijan.
The ambassador thanked the Azerbaijani authorities for their assistance.
Due to the increase in the spread of coronavirus in Georgia, medical oxygen consumption has tripled.
