A recently occurred car accident in Tbilisi Agmashenebeli Alley claimed the life of a man in his thirties.
A Mercedes hit a pedestrian. An ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident in a few minutes; however, doctors failed to save the man.
The investigation into the case has been launched under Part 6 of Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Georgia envisaging the violation of traffic laws resulting in death.
4 to 7 years of imprisonment is imposed for similar offences.
