Head of the Press Service of the Patriarchate Deacon Andria Jaghmaidze said that the church cannot promote vaccination. He stressed that vaccination has caused opinion clashes inside the church. ''Some priests appeal to their parish to get the vaccine, others opinions on this issue are different. The church has never issued similar mandates or internal regulations. Do not ever think that if the church says so, they will line up and get their shots,'' Jaghmaidze told Rustavi 2.
