The source of one of the new cases of coronavirus infection confirmed today is unknown. Marina Ezugbaia, the medical director of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, made a statement about the new patients.
According to her, clusters are known in all other cases. Three of the infected are medical staff; three are from quarantine and have a travel history.
The two patients are contacts of the infected person.
"In the last 24 hours, we have nine new confirmed cases added to those already existing. The number of recovering patients increased by 3. At this stage, 127 patients are undergoing treatment. We still have to find the source of one patient who is treated in Tbilisi. When it comes to cases like this, we investigate their contacts. I hope that we will find the source of the given case," Ezugbaia said.
