The 70-year-old having recently tested positive for the novel virus has reportedly attended his brother's funeral. He was subject to PCR testing and as the initial result was negative he was allowed to leave the quarantine area to attend his sibling's funeral.
The information has been confirmed by the Zugdidi City Hall. The recently diagnosed man's contacts have been traced, with seven of them quarantined.
