Tbilisi leads with the highest number of the novel coronavirus infections detected today, Marina Endeladze, Head of the boxed department of Tbilisi Infectious Hospital, stated.
In her words, the number of infected decreased in Adjara but increased in the Imereti region.
"The number of cases increased in Tbilisi, with 397 cases today. The cases dropped a little in Adjara and equaled 226, while in Imereti, we see an increasing number – 232,'' she said.
In Endeladze's words, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti sees 27 new cases, Kvemo Kartli – 20, Shida Kartli – 14, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 15, Kakheti – 13, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 8, Guria – 6.
Georgia detected 958 new cases of the novel coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours, and the number of infected equaled 16,285.
