According to Gabunaia, the citizen wishing to be vaccinated will be informed that the vaccine is not authorized by WHO, although it is authorized in 25 countries around the world, and tens of millions of people have been vaccinated.
"Vaccination with Sinovac will start next week. This vaccine is awaiting authorization from WHO. Experts characterize it positively in the interim report. We think it will be authorized soon. People over the age of 18 can receive this vaccine," Gabunia said.
Georgia received 100,000 doses of Sinovac as a gift from the Chinese government.
