Firefighter and rescuer Tornike Kiparoidze was killed during the performance of official duties, the Emergency Management Agency reports.
According to the agency, the firefighter was on call when he fell from the stairs.
"He was taken to an appropriate medical facility by the ambulance. Unfortunately, he could not be saved.
Tornike Kiparoidze worked in the fire-rescue forces for a year. He has a wife and a child," the agency said
