Zurab Kakhabrishvili, a Georgian Olympic team doctor, got publicly vaccinated with the AstraZeneca at the Republic Hospital.
After the vaccination, he told the media that he wanted to set an example for athletes. According to him, he feels well after the vaccination.
"I feel good after the vaccination. I took this step to be an example for people, especially athletes, as well as those who are skeptical about vaccination," said the chief doctor of the Olympic team.
Zurab Kakhabrishvili is the first sports representative in Georgia to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
