Do not gather either in your houses or temples as the next four days are critical for our country, Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Head of the National Center for Disease Control, said.
"We must contain the virus without letting it develop into a large-scale pandemic. The country had time to prepare better, as well as the healthcare system; however, the latest developments indicate that we are dealing with a serious in-country transmission of the virus, which may spiral out of control unless we follow all recommendations by the government," Gamkrelidze said, adding that people have to be more cautious now than ever. "Do not attend the holy liturgy this time only; do not go to churches on this Easter only. Follow our advice, please," Gamkrelidze called on the public.
