"The free movement of vehicles from Monday does not mean the lifting of the restrictions on long-distance traffic and the lifting of restrictions on large cities: Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi and Rustavi," Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister commented on the issue.

According to the head of the government, the citizens will be given two days to register or return to work.

"Restrictions will be maintained, given that they coincided with the Easter holidays, and many of our citizens left their homes or workplaces. We will make an exception and for 2 days, on Monday and Tuesday, citizens will have the opportunity to register or return to work. In two days, the restrictions on intercity traffic and the closure of cities will restore," Gakharia said.

The economy will open in three stages. At the first stage, the ban on road traffic will be lifted. In the second and third stages, the area of business activities will expand.
