Demonstrate civic awareness and implement the practice of two-week self-isolation, Head of the National Center for Disease Control Amiran Gamkrelidze advised people returning from areas with severe outbreaks. According to Gamkrelidze, these people have to self-isolate for two weeks by staying away from social situations and avoiding contact with family members and, by doing so, preventing the spread of the virus. 

Five new cases of the coronavirus have recently been confirmed in Georgia. All the five newly infected patients traveled in Italy together with the person who tested positive for the novel virus yesterday. A total of nine coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Georgia so far.
