“There is nothing to panic about the Kobuleti case,” – says the Head of NCDC.

The contacts of the infected person are already revealed; a deep epidemiological search is underway.

“The infection was confirmed in one of the cafes, where most people gather in the open air. All three infected persons are from Tbilisi. They are used to engage in seasonal work in Kobuleti. All contacts are tested. Regulations are toughened in this café. Deep epidemiological research and anti-epidemiological measures are undertaken in parallel.” – said Amiran Gamkrelidze.

Reminder: Georgia reports fifteen new coronavirus cases today. The total number of cases is 1,336.

The number of people who recovered from the virus is 1,088.
