The family of detained doctor Vazha Gaprindashvili, who is being kept in custody in the region of Tskhinvali, is demanding that they be allowed to meet PM Gakharia. They also want to form The Inter-Agency Committee. The family told journalists that they intend to stage a protest rally tomorrow.
Since all these negotiations and talks inside warm rooms have proved fruitless, we -- medical society --and everyone regardless their ethnicity, religion or political priorities, everyone who is concerned about the fact that the patriot man is being held hostage, are gathering at Republic Square, standing near the occupation line to show them our solidarity and the power of a peaceful protest, "Gaprindashvili's spouse Tamila Lapanshvili declared.
The so-called Akhalgori Court has left Dr. Vazha Gaprindashvili in custody.
Renowned Georgian doctor Vazha Gaprindashvili has been held in custody since Nov 9.
