Traffic restrictions have been imposed on Georgia's largest cities: Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Gori and Poti, with the decision made by the Coordination Council on 7 November.

As per the decision, traffic restrictions will be effective in the abovementioned cities from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. This will also apply to pedestrians, and streets will not be fully open to them either.

Restrictions will not be imposed on international transportation, strategically important facilities, medical facilities, pharmacies, media and delivery services.

Natural persons will be fined GEL 2,000 and legal persons GEL 10,000 for breaching the law.
