Georgian expert says country will soon have many vaccines, no citizens willing vaccination

''Unfortunately, the number of citizens willing to get vaccinated is decreasing sharply as it was expected,'' expert and former MP Akaki Zoidze said in his social media post.

Akaki Zoidze stressed that the government has exerted very little effort to convince the public of the necessity of vaccination. In Zoidze's words, the country will have lots of vaccines, with many of them expired, in October, but those willing to receive the jab will not be left in the country.

The expert stressed the state did very little to reduce the vaccine hesitancy rate by persuading at least 800,000 citizens that they need vaccination.
