Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze said that the government is holding negotiations with China and Jonson & Jonson.
"We have been assured that in the event that the Chinese vaccine or any other vaccine is recognized by the WHO, the vaccine is safe and effective. Therefore, I consider that the manufacturing country is irrelevant when it comes to risks posed. The only thing which matters is clinical surveys proving that the vaccine is not lethal or does not cause any life-threatening complications," Tikaradze told Rustavi 2.
