Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with World War II participants in the Veterans' Park of Culture and Rest.
"Today is the 76th anniversary of the victory over fascism. It is a day of great victory, in which our heroes, Georgians, veterans took part," Garibashvili said.
In his words, Georgia and Georgians made a significant contribution to this victory.
"It is the duty of each of us always to value our hero-veterans, remember their heroic deeds, and honor the memory of those who sacrificed themselves in this great war," Irakli Garibashvili said.
He talked with the veterans gathered in the park, congratulated them on Victory Day, and wished them good health.
The World War veterans thanked Garibashvili for the activities held to support them.
