TV Company Pirveli publicized the testimony by an underage witness involved in Shakarashvili's case.
"Some strangers there behaved aggressively and sought trouble. Their tone of voice was demeaning, and their remarks offensive. I went to the yard alone. In ten minutes, those boys followed me again, speaking in an insulting manner. They approached me, and we were involved in a verbal altercation. I headed for the highway afterward, followed by seven boys. One of them blocked my way and behaved aggressively. Later I was hit by something and felt pain in my head; then somebody punched me in the face, with several other people starting kicking me afterward. I tried to defend myself, and this was when my friend Vakho Chikovani turned up, and they started beating him too. I saw how his head was bleeding. Eventually, we headed to Tbilisi in Vakho's Toyota Camry," the minor says.
