Bidzina Ivanishvili calls upon Georgian mothers to bring up their children themselves, since severe psychological issues from which young people suffer today are caused by deprivation of maternal care.
"Such alarmingly high number of tranquilizers being sold annually have not been sold for hundreds of years. The issue is simple; no one can notice it though. The deprivation of maternal care and disappearance of conventional practice of mothers being involved in bringing up their children has destroyed a great number of values. In the event that I'll manage to disengage from politics, I will appeal to mothers to bring up their own babies without other's assistance. This gender equality, which is so trendy today, is not bad, but mother is a person who must bring up a child," Ivanishvili said.
