The International Black Sea University of Georgia (IBSU) has hosted U.S. Ambassador Kelly Degnan, who met university dean Saffet Bayraktutan.
Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Education Sciences Dr. Tamar Shioshvili has introduced the ambassador to the IBSU American Studies bachelor's degree program and expanded on the 20-year cooperation between IBSU and the US Embassy.
Degnan pointed out at the meeting that American Studies incorporate the Georgian and American culture and enable the two countries to strengthen links.
At the meeting, they elaborated on the US-Georgia relations and future prospects of cooperation with the IBSU.
