"Those in self-isolation have little contact with other people. If anyone develops the symptoms during the isolation, they will be brought to us," the medical director of the Infectious Disease Hospital told reporters.

Marina Ezugbaia urges those citizens arriving from high-risk countries such as Italy, Iran, China, and South Korea, to be responsible and remain in isolation if symptoms occur.

"I ask those arriving to stay at home for two weeks. We have 44 boxed beds and can fully control the flow of patients. It is the result of 24-hour work. Our center is the only facility in the country with a strong laboratory service," Ezugbaia said.

According to her, there are 30 patients in Tbilisi infectious hospital.

The number of people infected with coronavirus increased to 15.

Currently, there are 178 people in quarantine and 56 in inpatient care.
