On the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the National Leader of Azerbaijan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev and representatives of the Embassy will visit the monument to Heydar Aliyev today and lay flowers.
Representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan will also visit the Museum of Azerbaijani Culture in Tbilisi, where they will commemorate the life and work of Heydar Aliyev.
The event will continue in Aliyev Park in Rustavi. Faig Guliyev will arrive in Rustavi together with the staff of the Embassy of Azerbaijan and visit the monument of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Later, the representatives of the Embassy will arrive in Marneuli, where the award ceremony of the winners of the friendly freestyle wrestling held in the Kvemo Kartli region will be held.
A chess tournament dedicated to the 98th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev will be held among teenagers and young people today.
