Deputy Health Minister Giorgi Tsotskolauri has inspected the new field hospital in the Olympic village in Dighomi district, Tbilisi.
Giorgi Tsotskolauri told journalists that the field hospital is equipped with all required equipment and medical devices.
According to him, patients with moderate symptoms may be taken to the field hospital if the necessity to do so surfaces.
''We have close contact with the Red Cross, mobilizing doctors together with them. If need be, all doctors, including military doctors will get involved in the process,'' he said.
The Olympic village in Dighomi district, Tbilisi, has been equipped with a field hospital with a 500-bed capacity today.
