Nana Gegechkori: We must risk to stop death

A doctor living in the United States, cardiologist Nana Gegechkori, responds to the issuance of a coronavirus vaccine and writes that doctors will be vaccinated as part of a unique experiment in the first place.

"Pfizer vaccine has been approved. Our hospital will receive the first 975 doses in the coming weeks. Criteria for prioritization have also been developed as far as we know. It is a unique experiment; the first to be vaccinated will be doctors. These days, instead of saying hello, we all ask each other if we will vaccinate? Obviously, this experiment is accompanied by fear, but at the same time, we all understand that we must take risks to stop death.

Hopefully, 2021 will be a year of peace and health.

P.S. The Jews celebrate Hanukkah. It is a magical holiday of light," Nana Gegechkori writes in the social network.

The Advisory Board of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has recommended the urgent use of the coronavirus vaccine produced by Pfizer and BioNTech.
