The Parliament will discuss the suspension of Nika Melia's parliamentary mandate on Thursday at the sitting of the Procedural Issues and Rules Committee.
According to Guram Macharashvili, the Chairman of the Committee, the City Court has already handed over the documentation. Afterwards, the issue will be discussed at the bureau sitting and then put to the vote.
The deprivation of Nika Melia's mandate requires a vote of 76 deputies.
The court fined Nika Melia, a member of the United National Movement, with GEL 25,000. In addition, he was deprived of the right to hold office for two years and three months.
