Public Defender Nino Lomjaria requests that the Georgian government and the corresponding agencies give the public home care instructions for COVID-19 patients and explain its rules.
"People are unaware of home care rules in the case of catching the infection. Lots of infected citizens complain that they cannot receive medical aid and consultations for days.
Considering the status quo, the public defender appeals to the Georgian government and the corresponding bodies to provide people with home care guidelines in the shortest possible time: namely, who and when is obliged to contact the patient; in what manner and how often the medical personnel will monitor the patient's condition, and which institution is obliged to fulfil this duty," Lomjaria writes on social media.
