Out of the five infected in Georgian, one is a child. The Clinical Director of Tbilisi Hospital does not say the child’s age. Marina Ezugbaia says the child’s condition is stable.
“There are five new patients; two out of them are in our Center; one patient is from a new source. There is no use to name the source European country. It suffices to say that the case is linked to Europe. The second patient placed in our Center is a contact of one of the determined groups, and it is a child. Any person 0-14 years of age is considered a child. The health condition of the child is not severe, and we hope it will not aggravate. Thus, we have five children in our Center. The conditions of all five are manageable at the moment” – said Ezugbaia.
The last information reads 54 cases of infection in total; three out of 54 cured. The number of people in quarantine is 2,956, and 291 persons are under doctors’ observation. The information is available on stopcov.ge web site.
