According to Paata Imnadze, the Deputy Head of the National Center for Disease Control, the epidemiological situation in the country is deteriorating.
As Imnadze explains, the country will have a severe beginning of winter. He said morbidity and mortality would be high in the unvaccinated population.
"The end of autumn and the beginning of winter will be very challenging. The situation is alarming. It all depends on how many people have been vaccinated. We do not count as the vaccinated population right now because about a third are vaccinated. Consequently, morbidity will be very high in non-vaccinated populations and, unfortunately, mortality will continue to rise," said Paata Imnadze on the air of "Dghis Kurieri."
