According to the MFA of Georgia, the current epidemiological situation has resulted in the closure of polling stations in Azerbaijan and Greece's city of Thessaloniki.

Foreign Minister Khatuna Tortladze said that three polling stations were closed in Azerbaijan and two in Thessaloniki. Azerbaijani authorities reportedly made this decision due to the global pandemic and the current Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with Armenians.

However, in Tortladze's words, 7,000 Georgian citizens in Azerbaijan and 6,000 in Thessaloniki will still participate in the forthcoming elections.
