Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has thanked Hungary for assisting the Georgian government in returning six citizens of Georgia from Afghanistan.
''I wish to offer my sincere thanks to Hungary for helping us evacuate six Georgians from Kabul. This gesture of solidarity and patriotism in these hard times is of utmost significance.
I believe other Georgians in Kabul will return to their homeland peacefully,'' Zurabishvili wrote.
Six citizens of Georgia have returned to their homeland from Afghanistan with the help of Hungary, with which the Georgian government has actively discussed the issue.
