Civil Movement and Change have organized a rally demanding the resignation of Erekle Kukhianidze, the deputy of Tbilisi City Assembly. The members of the movements are protesting the statement made by Kukhianidze regarding Gaprindashvili.
The rally participants symbolically brought a rubbish bin, with the picture of the deputy on it.
Aleko Elisashvili, an independent deputy, wants to meet with Giorgi Tkemaladze, the Chairman of the Tbilisi City Assembly, to find out when Kukhianidze is planning to resign.
Erekle Kukhianidze, accused Vazha Gaprindashvili's family in the provocation, calling them "idiots."
