"You tricked us, we will get rid of you," "No to the Oligarch," these and other rallying cries are coming from protesters in the city of Kutaisi. The leaders of opposition and their supporters walked from the Meskhishvili theatre to the City Hall. At one point, tensions ran high at the protest when protesters and the Georgian Dream adherents were involved in physical altercation. The situation deescalated later.
The demonstrators are demanding proportional elections. They put carrots outside the City Hall as symbolic representations of the deputies having refused to vote.
