According to the Roads Department, due to heavy rainfall, ravines overflowed on the 26th, 47th, and 57th kilometers of the Pshaveli-Abano-Omalo highway of domestic importance, leading to avalanches.
All types of vehicles are prohibited from the 10th to the 72nd kilometer of the Pshaveli-Abano-Omalo road.
The Department of Roads of Georgia is carrying out continuous cleaning works; additional equipment is being mobilized in order to restore traffic as soon as possible.
