The Interagency Coordination Council released recommendations to prevent the spread of coronavirus. According to the Tbilisi City Hall, taxi drivers should not have their windows closed while carrying passengers.
"During this time, the passengers should not sit next to the driver - a maximum of two passengers should be in the backseat of the vehicle, sitting distanced from each other.
We urge taxi drivers in Tbilisi to adhere strictly to all rules and recommendations issued by the Coordination Council for the prevention of the virus.
We are addressing our population once again to - stay at home and use public transport only in case of urgent need," the statement said.
