Georgian artist, theater, and film director Rezo Gabriadze was buried at Mtatsminda Pantheon. He was taken from Anchiskhati Church. Civil funerals were held at the Marionette Theater founded by him. Gabriadze died on June 6 at the age of 84.

Rezo Gabriadze was born in 1936 in Kutaisi. He is the author of more than 35 films, including "Mimino," "The Eccentrics," "Don't Grieve," "Extraordinary Exhibition," "Three on the Road," "Pitcher," "Feola" and others.

In 1981 he founded the Marionette Theater in Tbilisi. Rezo Gabriadze has won many international awards, such as the Order of the Commander of Art and Literature of the French Republic, USSR State Prize, as well as awards - "Nika," "Triumph," "Golden Mask," "Golden Sophie," Shota Rustaveli State Prize and others.
