According to the National Environment Agency, a sharp weather deterioration is expected in Georgia from January 13 to 17.
"Precipitation is expected, mostly in the form of snow. A significant decrease in air temperature, strong winds, heavy snow in the mountains and highlands, fog and snowstorm, 4-5 magnitude storm at sea, muddy roads, freezing of power lines, and avalanche danger in the mountains are expected, "mentions the statement of the agency.
The National Environment Agency says that traffic may be restricted due to heavy snow, deterioration of visibility, snowstorms, slush, and avalanches on some sections of the roads.
Snow is expected in the capital of Georgia on January 13-16. The temperature in Tbilisi will only go up to +3 degrees during the day. From January 17, the temperature will be +4, maximum +8 degrees.
