Mahir Mammedov, General Director of Socar Energy Georgia, has passed products to Shida Kartli Governor, Giorgi Khojevanishvili, for distribution among the vulnerable population of the region.
The state of emergency introduced in the country is dramatically affecting the vulnerable families and people that lost their jobs. The Socar Energy Georgia has decided to support the families affected by the state of emergency with the basic food products.
The food products packed in boxes are destined for 1000 families throughout Georgia. The list of beneficiaries was agreed with local authorities of all regions.
It is not the first step undertaken by Socar Energy Georgia in support of the population. The company has also transferred 200,000 GEL to the account of stopcov.ge campaign. The Socar Energy Georgia cares about its personnel the significant number of which has shifted to the distant working mode, and the other part that remains in the objects is protected in compliance to the recommendations and norms issued by the government of Georgia and the National Center for Disease Control.
