According to the Parliament Press Office, everyone having contacted Levan Gogichaishvili after Sept.5 has been tested and instructed to self-isolate.
"As it is known, MP Levan Gogichaishvili has tested positive for the coronavirus. In accordance with the recommendation by the National Center for Disease Control, all persons having contacted the infected have been subject to mandatory COVID-19 testing and self-isolation.
The MP's working area has been disinfected, with the entire parliament building also being regularly disinfected. Everyone entering the building will fall subject to thermal control. The use of face masks will also be monitored. The legislative body is operating in accordance with recommendations by the WHO and NCDC," the statement by the Press Office reads.
