"The sources of two cases out of the three confirmed today are known. They are students who studied in Armenia and were in quarantine after returning to Georgia," the medical director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital said.
According to Marina Ezugbaia, both are undergoing treatment at the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, and their condition is satisfactory.
As for another case confirmed today, the source of its infection is unknown, and an in-depth epidemiological investigation is underway.
"According to the data from our center, we have 24 confirmed cases. We received two new confirmed cases. Two patients left the hospital yesterday. Of the two new cases, none are severe, with one having mild pneumonia, one without pneumonia. Both are students who studied in Armenia, returned, were in quarantine, and confirmed to have coronavirus," Marina Ezugbaia said.
As for other patients placed in the center, according to Ezugbaia, their condition is moderate and moderately severe.
Three new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia today, and the number of infected people increased to 911. The number of those recovered increased by seven and reached 768.
Fourteen people died of coronavirus in the country.
