"The peak of coronavirus is expected in mid-May," the Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia said at a briefing at the agency today.
"Today's figure does not reflect the trend of an epidemic. These are accumulated cases that were not detected during the Easter holiday, and therefore no reporting was carried out. The peak rates of COVID-19 will be revealed in mid-May," Gabunia said.
There are 315 913 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia. Among them, 296 532 recovered, and 4 207 patients died.
